Exactly 83 years ago, on June 1-2, 1941, the Palestinian Arab leader who fled to Iraq, Haj Amin al-Husseini, the Grand Mufti, initiated and led the Farhud – a brutal pogrom carried out against the Jews of Baghdad and Iraq in general.
